Minari ★★★★

I am so grateful to Lee Isaac Chung for reaching inside himself and sharing his memories of a time and place I know so little about. He expands the American immigrant experience in such a meaningful way. The casting is also impeccable. I cared about this family in a way I haven't felt in some time.

I'm so sad I couldn't see it uninterrupted on a big screen. I suspect my rating will rise as I think and rethink about all that makes this film so heartfelt. I was deeply moved by it.
