This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

How can people not be disappointed in the 2nd half and by harper???

Riley (aubrey plaza) is best girl
    And John is best everything!

One of the most beautiful animated movies i've ever seen. It's more icnredible when you notice that this was made 32 years ago and the animation looked still top notch.

THe music and the feeling the movie gave felt very reminiscent of blade runner and the matrix with a dark dystopian realist future.

Some of the imagery was just incredible to look at.

Definitely one of the best animated films i've ever seen from japan.

PS: it's incredible that they managed to predict the olympic games would happen in 2020 but then be cancelled or delay.

This is a standard lighthearted french dramedy. It's fun to watch and like another review has pointed out, it's rainman meets about a boy.
The character chemistry is good and the football aspect added to it is a nice touch.

It's a movie that comes and goes, not something that breaks any boundaries or that will be remembered for eons, but it's a film that entertains and gives you a nice time while you watch it and that's all we ask of it.

Conclusion: nice enjoyable film that is also quite predictable.

Eleventh film in my 3 day 22 movie Marathon:

Wow didn't expect to like it that much more on my second viewing.
This franchise really delivers in terms of adventure like no other franchiss do today, it's so colourful as well.

Not as perfect as the first Guardians, but this one does so many things right that it might go in the top half of the mcu actually.

It's very creative, emotional and enjoyable.

    Great film.
