God doesn't love niggas.
Chadwick's second monologue is much powerful than the first one. I think he has a clear path for a win this awards season. I still have to see Anthony Hopkins in The Father.
Also, technically Viola Davis is more of a supporting role than a major role. She only has 28 minutes of screentime. Still, I think she in a lock. We have to see how Vanessa Kirby is in Pieces of A Woman.
I think this will win Best Assemble at the SAGS. The Prom might be competitive at the race. Minari is a lost cause because of A24 lackluster promotion.
This awards season is going to be hella stacked. I don't know who's the front-runner in the race. Nomadland is too slow for general audiences. Trial of Chicago 7 is loosing steam at the moment. And Mank is an acquired taste. Maybe, this might win because of the overall message of black ownership.
We'll see in the coming months, what will happen.
