i have literally been thinking about this for a whole day cuz i cant decide how i feel about it and tbh my rating is still tbd but here is me trying to breakdown my thoughts:
UPDATE: i think it is growing on me, i need to see it again......
-the characters !!! every scene was so fun to watch bc of the characters and their different dynamics
-leo dicap <3
-brad pitt <3
-the little girl
-the old hollywood aesthetic and the detail that went with it
-THE DOG. THE D O G! 💖💖💖
-the plot was messy, i get that it’s “a day in the life” blah blah blah i understand, but it could’ve been done better esp compared to other movies of tarantino’s
-give 👏margot👏 more lines 👏 im in love with her
-not sure how i feel ab the ending, the rewriting history thing worked for inglorious basterds but idk for this scenerio it just felt a bit wrong, but i acknowledge that it can be a good moment of catharsis for people (and it was beautifully executed and entertaining, i mean i enjoyed watching it) and we can indulge in the idea of an alternative outcome but it doesn’t erase the fact that what happened, happened and that the tragedy cant be undone
-too much feet please stop please god i hate feet
overall: i enjoyed it and would see it again but quentin tarantino and his pretentious film boy army make me UNCOMFY
