Not quite as bad as most say, but the problem is that it obviously could have been fantastic so people are being a little too harsh on it. The low points are a bit of over acting, curious choices made, and at times strange direction. It does telegraph things at bit too much for my liking but it's not a deal breaker. It's shot well and the scoring is decent. The story itself is pretty good, but the above things mentioned kind of detract from it. I still feel it's above average as is, but it could have been fantastic in a silence of the lambs kind of way.
