This requires more than one viewing. However, I will say this is one of the most visceral experiences I have ever had with a film. It all feels like waking up from a dream. There are bits and pieces that seem familiar, but it’s not quite clear. This is a fascinating film that I can’t wait to rewatch and try to make more sense of.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

not only did the poster mislead me but I was genuinely excited by the shallow romance plot and they took that away from me too almost instantly. I can’t have anything

What happens when Airplane (1980) snorts a line of bath salts?

You get Exorcism at 60,000 Feet.

I was very impressed with the solid production value, as well as the competent cinematography and acting. Relative to what I usually watch (low bar). This had a considerable amount of faces I actually know. It’s not just filled with horrible people who can’t act. Bai Ling (Crank: High Voltage) is in this and she is fucking incredibly funny. She basically plays Ria…

Yup, it’s definitely a Tarkovsky film. It changes between color and B&W. None of the characters like each other. They argue the whole time about humanity. Their ideas always clash. There is the beautiful women thrown in (plus dog). Can’t forget about the sweeping art shots. Then there is the main character losing his shit thrown in for good measure.

    But it’s just sooooo good.

    The 60s, 70s and 80s weren’t big/good enough for Tarkovsky. I feel it stifled his…

I wish I could say I'm surprised at the polarity this film seems to get, but I'm not in the least surprised. Most seem focused on the fact that it was written and directed by a guy and is about teen girls and the problems they face. What do guys know about the problems teen girls face? Probably not as much as they think they do, but the majority of such films are written and/or directed by guys so take…

I got some good laughs out of this. It’s pretty decent, in the technical aspect of things. Most of this is just cringey. At no point was this remotely convincing. The “Shocking real pranks” is a gimmick. If the whole prank show angle is your thing then go for it. This isn’t worth watching.

fantastic fighting sequences and a decent performance from Chris Hemsworth. the story was not all that great, even ridiculous st some points. but that did not stop me from enjoying this film. after all its an action film and it delivered on the action.
