Frank Yan’s review published on Letterboxd:
The river don’t forget.
Growing up in Wuhan, I’m always fascinated by the rivers and lakes. The 18-year of experience made me always wanna live in a city that has a large body of water, whether it’s river, lake, or sea. I guess it’s because it feels close to home. I think the film will be more effective if all the letters in the film are read in Wuhanese, instead of just texts on the screen.
