A couple of cool action sequences, finally a capable female counterpart, but a boringly absurd villain and plot.

A bit boring, everything interesting that happens, happens off screen.

It kind of seems like the filmmakers chanced upon something bigger than they expected. I felt like they didn't fully take advantage of that situation, but they did really good anyway.

Mostly competent cinematography, but the storytelling in this film is just a delivery mechanism for slight twists and ridiculous heroic moments for the main characters, of whom there are many.
