The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
One of my favourite films.
It has an incredible story, with very interesting narrative choices.
The confectionary style and aesthetically pleasing colours and cinematography are so classically Wes Anderson, feels very artistic and choices have been made with precision and care.The humour and heart of the film also elevates it beyond just being stylistically good, the acting of the main two (Zero and Gustave) in particular creates a really strong bond between the characters. Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) 2020
When I first watched it I felt overjoyed at the storyline and the characters but didn’t find it be anything special, yet when I rewatched it I loved it even more.
I love the acting, the story, the fight scenes, the colours, the messages, the soundtrack. It’s such a badass feminist film and one I can watch again and again!

Loved The Queens Gambit! Had me on the edge of my seat and in tears, acting is superb. Story is incredible, would watch again :)
