    Concrete Cowboy

I’ve always been fascinated by cowboy movies, but a focus on Black cowboys which seemed to have been forgotten by history and film/television studios, completely captures my attention. Glad to know this subculture’s story is being told. This reminds me of Nomadland with the use of non actors. It was very interesting to hear their personal stories and definitely strengthened the film. I’m happy  Ricky Staub chose to use the real Fletcher Street Cowboys both behind the scenes and on…

    Disturbing, but good.

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover

The movie was very theatrical and I loved that element, even though it did not really break the fourth wall. I thought the ending was very interesting and I loved the way that it happened. Was not expecting to enjoy this film as much as I did.
