It's been two weeks already since I saw this thing on the cinema.
A friend asked me: “is it any good?"
I still don't know how to answer that.
This film finally answers the question: "How would a remix look like in movie form?"
It takes scenes and beats from far better movies, mixes up the order of certain scenes, reverses some actions, adds reverb to character motivation, and adds an unnecessary - yet earwormy - trance beat behind it all to create the illusion of a cohesive idea.
But, as it happens with most remixes, even some that I love to death and sometimes prefer over their original versions, it is a hollow experience that has nothing else to say other than "ain't it cool?"
