Isaac Robinson’s review published on Letterboxd:
The font in the credits was weird.
That's it. That's the only criticism I can think of, everything else in the movie just works. The dialogue is razor sharp, the direction is extremely confident, and the editing is top notch. All served by incredible performances from Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz, Emma Stone, and even Nicholas Hoult, the movie just works.
With that said, this is a strange film, filled with the surrealism synonymous with Yorgos Lanthimos, and therefore may not be for everyone. If you have seen and enjoyed any of his movies, go for this one, it's awesome.
Also, I FUCKING SWEAR if Olivia Colman doesn't get the Oscar I will lose my fucking mind, she's so damn great.
