Brad Henderson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Drinking my soup and eating my sandwiches on a dreary day, sunshine trying to break through.
Always so much rain in Terence Davies films but that's a splendid thing you can go down the local tavern and sing some golden oldies with your family and friends. Forget your troubles for awhile.
Superb family drama filled with memories some not so pleasant with an abusive parent.
One of the great British films can see why it's ranked highly in the BFI's list of favourite films.
