James Wan after a parenthesis in action (Fast and Furios, Acquaman) finally returns to horror, again amazes the viewer thanks to a subject and has a very original and unconventional script.
What Wan does is mix various genres such as spirit horror, 80's Slasher and "Saw" style crime thriller, the result is completely convincing, and it is even more so in the splendid final plot twist.
