Fat Chinese man gets a wedgie from Moore.

Seriously though, this is a lot of fun. The film is the birth of many cliches which makes it pretty classic in the franchise. Moore isn’t that bad and he and the film itself are kind of overhated in my opinion. Nick Nack is annoying as fuck but other than that the flaws aren’t too major.

    Christopher Lee is the GOAT.

I had anticipated this to be fairly good as it is famous for its “cuckoo clock” speech among other things, but I was very impressed at how good this was.
The cinematography is the best that I have ever seen in a film. Ever. The dark tones shadows in general perfectly set the atmosphere of the film.
There are also many twists throughout the film that strengthen the story well.
Overall it is a British classic and I am glad…

Could be my favourite film of this year.
Every piece of dialogue had a purpose.
The acting and cast was perfect.
It had a slow pace that still worked very well as it progressed.
    The cinematography was great.

Also I loved it how the only feature of our civilisation that survived was the bagpipes. A pretty serious scene but I found it hilarious.

Solid 9/10. I look forward to seeing more.

This was just as I had anticipated it to be like; unsettling, dark and slightly controversial, but it still managed to be cinematically brilliant. Joaquin Phoenix put on such a great performance and I think he could be one of my favourite Jokers. Considering changing it to 4 stars.

    Update: I did.
