This year I have set myself the challenge of watching all the theatrically released Pixar animated feature films in chronological order. As I watch the films I will rank them in order of how I rate them...
Young Miguel is an aspiring musician in a family, that due to the fact his great, great grandad left his wife & daughter to pursue his musical dreams, now likes shoes and hates music. The little Mariachi finds out that black sheep was actually Mexican musical superstar Ernesto De La Cruz and steals the guitar from his tomb in an effort to follow in his footsteps. In doing so Miguel curses his family and is sent to the land of the dead where trying to right his wrong he learns that family is all important.
A whisper away from being Pixar's best, this is stunningly animated and with a heart warming story to match.
