Joe Lynch’s review published on Letterboxd:
Haven’t seen this since the theaters, a “classic Miramax” cast of faces and hot fresh talent lured in by a post-Tarantino-esque script from Tarantino-esque scribe Scott Rosenberg, who delights in making up his own language but this time feels more grounded than THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOURE DEAD. Amazing cast chewing scenery in a hangout romantic comedy that would most likely be a Netflix original film now but was Miramar’s mid-90’s bread and butter.
Reminds me how much I miss the sure, casual, confident hand of director Ted Demme (who felt like the Tony Scott of Demme’s, now in more ways than one sadly).
Also, endlessly quotable.
