Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ★★★★½

Not sure how many times I've seen it.

"The world used to be a bigger place."
"The world's still the same. There's just... less in it."

I totally forgot how deep an impression this film in particular made on me. Seeing this on the big screen as a five year old was one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of my life, and I can genuinely trace my fascination with imagery, scope, and lore in storytelling back to that exact moment. I don't think I can even describe how much this excites me, how deeply it makes me feel, or how massively it influenced how I watch and understand film. Possibly my favorite in the franchise.
