    From Russia with Love

    Although too long and certainly meandering at moments, From Russia With Love is a big step up from Dr No in quite a few areas.

    There's a much stronger budgetary commitment here. The cheapness of Dr No has been shrugged off for grander locations and more interesting gadgets. Bond's suitcase is so much fun, and it's exciting to see Q for the first time.

    Growing up, I adored the Bond films. I collected the Special Editions on DVD, before selling my collection for the Bond 50 Bluray set. Until then, I had watched them all every summer.

    This is my first time in nearly a decade watching a non-Craig film, and it has me so excited to revisit them all over the next month and a bit.
