David Carroll’s review published on Letterboxd:
Well, I liked the actors pretty much. It was always watchable. Other than that, there's not a lot.
This doubles (and triples) down on what I thought was the worst aspect of the original movie -- the quirky gangsters -- which doesn't leave a lot of room for the good stuff. Even that just peters out at the end, replaced by random religious mutterings. Again, the elements were from the first movie, but the balance just throws it all off.
