A Fistful of Dollars

A Fistful of Dollars ★★★★

If you steal, steal from the best. Yeah, “A Fistful of Dollars” is an unofficial remake of Akira Kurosawa´s samurai masterpiece “Yojimbo”, but hey, it´s a great story and it works just as well in a Wild West setting (though I prefer the original). Sergio Leone, Clint Eastwood, and Ennio Morricone are a dream team and because of them, the film oozes style and coolness. I would recommend it as the ideal introduction to both Leone´s filmography and spaghetti western in general. The wonderful thing about the Dollars trilogy is that it begins great and gets even better with every film.
