    Film 5/7 for MA project. Never Rarely Sometimes Always is still so devastating, so full of exhaustion, dread, and heaviness. Some of girlhood’s worst moments conveyed through the film’s hapticity, affectivity, soundscape, and emphasis on embodiment. Nothing uplifting about this film, except for knowing that it exists.
