Mia Fellows’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was a pretty slow film, most of the scenes on the actual island were really dragged out, I’m talking minutes of silently watching Chuck walk across a beach looking for sticks or fish. It was an interesting movie, but the start and endmost scenes were the only ones I really enjoyed. All of the scenes that were meant to be “emotional” I found didn’t hit me, perhaps because of the way that they were executed but perhaps because I just wasn’t enjoying the film too much. Saying that however, it flowed nicely, and there was something therapeutic about watching the main character live out his slow life on an island.
