Mia Fellows’s review published on Letterboxd:
It wasn’t as bad as I was initially expecting, if I’m honest. But it was the one of the most cringeworthy films I have ever seen. Some of the acting was dire, and most of the humour was pretty off timed.
It was a cute film for maybe 6-11 year olds? But I feel like it’s marketing itself to older teens and adults, especially because of the odd choice of cast members. Honestly when James Acaster and Romesh Ranganathan showed up as mice I was so confused.
It was also so l o n g. How did they drag this out to two hours?? It would definitely be a great film to watch with some of my younger family members, and has some great morals concerning female empowerment and independence. But overall it was pretty dire.
