Mia Fellows’s review published on Letterboxd:
I do not understand why this film is rated so highly. There was no comprehensible moment in the whole two hours. The first film was amazing - I loved it - so I was so excited about this movie, but oh boy was it a let down. Most of the characters seemed like they had been invented by a child, their costumes and stories far fetched and unrealistic. I get that it was meant to be a more comedic, witty take on comic movies, but they took it to a level surpassing comedic and achieving something that resembled a ridiculous video I might find on a YouTube deep dive at 3am. The plot was odd - it seemed like someone had made up a story on the spot - the best characters had the littlest screen time, and I felt like I was watching three films jammed into one. It made no sense. I was really disappointed.
(The one star goes entirely to Sebastian the rat, who was by far the best character and owns my entire heart).
