• Inception

This film was really trippy, but the plot was average and I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. If the cast hadn’t been as famous I probably wouldn’t have liked it as much.

  • Thor: Ragnarok

    Thor: Ragnarok

Personally this is one of my favourite, if not my favourite marvel films. It’s funny and colourful, giving us a different perspective on well loved characters.

  • Hereditary

The first time I watched this film I had to sleep with the lights on. It terrified me. The angle at which it is filmed, the focal points combined with the odd music creates a horrifying atmosphere. A must-see for any horror fan.

  • Black Panther

    Black Panther

I l o v e d the cinematography in this film, it was beautiful and involved such a wide range of settings and terrains. The variation was perfect. It’s a beautiful film, with an exciting plot.

  • A Quiet Place

    A Quiet Place

I loved this film. I always find the concept of an alien invasion terrifying so I was scared throughout. The silence of the film makes it even more chilling.

  • Avengers: Infinity War

    Avengers: Infinity War

I’m a huge marvel fan, so of course I was going to love this film. The ending tore my heart out though, and I remember how hard I found it to wait a year for the next film.

  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

I really enjoyed this film. The animation was so satisfying and all of the characters were cute and fun to watch. The plot was sweet and simple too

  • Us

This film didn’t scare me as much as I thought it would, but the symbolism throughout was well done. It’s intelligently thought out, and filmed with a satisfying angle.

  • Avengers: Endgame

    Avengers: Endgame

I loved this film. So much. I’ve grown up with these characters and so I suppose my love is slightly biased, but I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

  • The Lighthouse

    The Lighthouse

I didn’t enjoy this film as much as I thought I would. The concept was well thought out, but the film was mostly made of of the two men silently completing chores around the lighthouse. It is hard to get through at times.

  • Parasite

This film terrified me in the best possible way. I’m a huge horror fan, and this only emphasised that love. It was an incredible film, with an incredible cast. I would watch it over and over again.

  • Joker

I think I was only underwhelmed slightly by this movie because everyone had bigged it up so much, that by the time I watched it my expectations were insanely high. I still loved it

    (Spoilers ahead)

The scene during the television programme, when Arthur kills the presenter still shocks me. It was so well filmed, and utterly disturbing.
