Chad Anderson’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a pleasure being able to see this with Spencer and Maxwell, this being Maxwell's first time.
This is such a classic vision that depends heavily on amazing work by Kurt Russell, Isaac Hayes, Donald Pleasance, Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Harry Dean Stanton, Adrienne Barbeau, and Tom Atkins, who all manage to deliver something between one of their better performances and one of their best.
I was able to share anecdotes with Maxwell and he eventually got into it. Nice sharing it with him.
Although there is much it could not predict, it is remarkable how the movie forsaw the future with a militarized police force.
