Chad Anderson’s review published on Letterboxd:
The difference between the astounding Dire Straights open with its whimsical humor and horror tells a lot about why this is a big cut above the sequel. This also has a few choreographed music videos and tense action. The second one does not reestablish the bona fides but instead proceeds quickly to resting on its laurels. This one had stars it know how to use. The sequel squandered Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, and Channing Tatum, and even Colin Firth when he was there, where they could have saved the show.
