As I watched this, I felt like the main character was someone I know despite me never knowing someone like this, which is interesting. The lead performance is terrific, the actor completely sells his character.
On top of that, this film shows that Fritz is a promising writer and filmmaker, as if his previous films didn’t prove that already.
There’s plenty of homages that I appreciate quite a bit, primarily to the film SHAME. It’s a nice touch to the film even if it doesn’t mean anything in terms of quality.
In terms of filmmaking, acting, and writing, this is far above many beginner films out there. Hollywood, you better be watching out for my boi Fritz, aight
