Trevin Alger’s review published on Letterboxd:
Whenever I want to a film to calm me down I throw on Ozu. He handles the anxieties of life the way I would like to. With a deep breath, a slow smile, and then staring at the pretty street just outside for a few moments. His films are constant conflict, but there the love of family always wins out. I love Ozu so much. He honestly might be my favorite director. I want a damn ass Ozu collection Criterion. Let's get on that.
