All movies suck to someone. Good news is, my reviews suck to everyone.
Every so often you have to turn on your humbleness and reflect with yourself about what a fucking failure you are for letting a movie this good slide under your radar.
Neil Young’s score may very well be the best match up vibe setting drug jam out ever placed alongside a film. This, accompanied by fantastic writing, great setting and an overall perfect vibe.
Now get me some tobacco.
I have to rate this high because I’ve been chasing the dragon of “fucked up” for 20+ years now and new movies never get me there. Now I know you're thinking, ok dude we get it you like BDSM. Chill, judging is dangerous and everyone is different.
It’s a phenomenal movie with great lighting, intimate shots, killer acting, cute Finish noses, disgustingly putrid pain scenes and all backed by a story that gives you just the right dosage of character depth.
As I say, my reviews are mine. It’s how we as individuals meet the director, actors, writer, cinematographer and entire crew......together go for a ride.
Love Garland. Love this flick. Rewatching was great.
A visual sci-fi overdose with the right balance of intense vibe music and indie-emo guitar picking.
I wouldn’t be wrong in saying last 25 minutes, while Nobel prize winning, are also mostly obviously influenced from screen savers we used to stare at in 7th grade.
