Inception is an interesting movie. I think it has a relatively minor flaw, but the good parts make up for it, and in general, it is a super enjoyable experience I would recommend to any action movie lover.
The flaw I am talking about is that all the characters except for Cobb and Ariadne. The reason this isn't a bigger issue, is because the story is primarily about Cobb. The other characters don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I still think they could have spent more time with some of the other characters.
Now for my 2 favorite parts:
1. The action scenes. These scenes are great. They are really intense, and kept me very engaged, which usually doesn't happen for me. The soundtrack was great at conveying emotion and really heightened the action for me. The effects used in the dream sequences look awesome as well and just in general they are really well made.
2. The ambiguous ending. This ending has caused a lot of speculation. Did the top actually fall? Is it still spinning? Does it even matter? Who knows? I am glad Nolan made us question these things, and I'm glad he hasn't revealed the truth. The mystery makes the movie so much more interesting.
3. I don't have a lot to say about this part, but a big reason I liked Cobb so much is because of Leonardo Di Caprio. I loved his performance here. This is the first movie I've seen him in, and he definitely lived up to his name. He showed a lot of emotion, and I also just really like his voice.
In conclusion, this movie is really good, but it doesn't spend enough time with it's minor characters. I would recommend it to anyone who likes action scenes, or likes ambiguous endings, or Leonardo Di Caprio. 4.5/5
