Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm ★★★

If we're comparing Borat 2 to the original Borat, I personally like the first one more. I think it's more cohesive, has more consistent and harder laughs, and is going to be the more rewatchable film.
With that said though, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm still stands on its own as a solid mockumentary and one that does have its fair share of really funny moments; and Sasha Baron Cohen is once again just perfect as this character and brings so much dedication to the role. I actually didn't mind the inclusion of the daughter character either, which was something I was really scared about since other recent comedies have done the same thing and most of them have been bad and dropped the ball on that specific element.

Has anyone else noticed that actually? Comedy sequels that are made many years after the original having either a son or daughter character introduced into them. It's almost as if it's a new trend. Usually it's a daughter character that's included; some examples would be this film, along with Dumb and Dumber To, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Bill and Ted Face the Music. But it has also been a son character in a couple of films such as Zoolander 2 and the upcoming Coming 2 America.
