second film seen in theatres since the pandemic hit, absolutely devastating and breathtaking

i probably liked this more than i would have because it is the first film i watched post-quarantine. the cinema was quiet with loneliness and made the experience much more, well, different. the acting and cinematography was great (in my completely unprofessional opinion) but i am not sure that the director created what they may have been setting out to create, and that translated into the somewhat confusing and vague writing that occurred.
