Absorbing in every way. Raises some powerful questions about the price to be paid for doing the right thing, and what the right thing even means. I absolutely loved it.

Also, Casey Affleck gives a helluva performance.

One of the best movies i've ever seen. I'm actually mad it took me this long to watch..
The acting was basically perfect, from everyone! The casting director deserves the ultimate fucking applause. The direction, the story, the ending, the interplay of characters! Everything just works. Touched my heart on many different levels. Left me fucking speechless.

Powerful drama about a gifted baseball pitcher from the Dominican Republic as he faces some trials and tribulations along the way.. This is a 5 star movie in my eyes. What a treat.

Nothing like your typical sports flick, Its delightfully detailed and incredibly insightful.

Boden and Flecks low-key film making style is perfect for a movie like this and boy did they hit it out the park. Easily one of the best coming-of-age dramas out there.
