Free and imaginative camera direction and exciting, and full-of-energy editing is the most memorable quality of this film.

But by giving a full concentrated watch, the film proves to be impressive in more of the screenplay. The camera direction and editing decisions clearly made possible because of how ordered and crafted the screenplay was.

    Warm and Normal Film.
A bit hyped by the current ethnic trend.

    Honest, almost confessional,
    Bold, almost heroic.

    Spectacular in authenticity -
of the people inhabit the frame,
from Mickelson's Tony to the hookers
    in Kurt the Cunt's brothel.

    Refn is a magician
in how he can illustrate this vision

Magical in how the film finds these perfect locations
with perfect ways to tell the story.

This is a film I admire.
    and adore.
