It's the 80s. A woman works as a censor for the British government cracking down on horror movies. The video nasties era is full on. She bizarrely finds a connection for her missing sister in one particular movie that's submitted to her. She's gonna see for herself if she can find her. She's sure she can. Her own horror story. She's gone down that rabbithole. She's gotta press play, stop and eject if she wants to make it out. Director Prano Bailey-Bond is a skillful horror director. Weaves the story very well. Before you realize it he's got you trapped with all the bloody bits in an uncut waking nightmare. Really impressed with this one.
