Waldo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Saw it back in 88. Dismissed it as crap. John Carpenter's pal Tommy Lee Wallace takes over for Tom Holland and brings back Ragsdale and the late great Roddy McDowall as Brewster and the aging tv vampire killer. This time ol Brewster is in college now and his new girlfriend is in danger from a group of vampires targeting Ragsdale for the killing of the vampire from the first film. Julie Carmen, Johnathan Gries, the bad guy from Cobra and a Prince and the Revolution's reject make great, fun vampires. Good stuff. Now I'm gonna watch that ridiculously long documentary on the Fright Night flicks.
