    Inherent Vice

It never sat right with me how I felt towards this film, specially after the fact that PTA quickly became one of my favorite working filmmakers today.

I waited a while before I could properly rewatch it. I did a lot of research about the project, book, story and vision. So, more than a year later and a bunch of prep for it, here I find myself rewatching it again…and this time, I really enjoyed it.

    I obviously couldn’t keep…

    Spider-Man 2

Pop culture completely changed when comic books made their way into our lives. For years, characters were created to inspire the masses and believing in good, in heroes.

It took many years for superheroes to become as popular on the silver screen as they were on paper and the debate of who’s responsible for that will always be present. Was it Superman? Was it Tim Burton with Batman? The X-Men? Or was it Sam Raimi with his glorious Spider-Man trilogy. …

“Kiss me my darling before I get sick”

Excellent as always. PT’s masterful work behind the camera elevates this film as an instant classic for me.

A deep, twisted exploration of want and need in a relationship. At times, a comedy, but always a dark work of art attempting to convey a terrifying depiction of love.

Wonderful performances all around, stunning visuals, and an impeccable score.

    A masterpiece.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

I just spent the last month binging Better Call Saul, and today, after finishing it, felt like the right moment to rewatch this.

To be honest, pretty much have the same feelings. What made Breaking Bad so good and continues to make Better Call Saul even better is how every single element, moment, scene, situation in the screenplay is there to push character development and showcase a characters decisions and choices.

El Camino’s biggest issue is that it adds nothing…

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I had no idea what to expect. I went in with no knowledge of the play or story, none of it.

Besides not really being impressed by it on a technical level (the cinematography looked incredibly bland) what really disappointed me was the story.

I’ve always heard people praise this story, but I couldn’t stop feeling uncomfortable at how just…wrong it all felt. The story felt like it was propelled by the wrong intentions.

I felt like my emotions were…

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

Zack Snyder’s Justice League...wow. It feels like we have been on a never ending journey with this film, and now, it’s finally here. Whether it did or it did not live up to hype, the point of celebration is that Zack got to deliver his ultimate vision of the project he started all these years ago.

My journey with this film is a strange one. I’m a DC fan boy. Love the comic books, characters, animated movies, games, all of…
