Warp’s review published on Letterboxd:
Awesome. Although it’s more of a drama with some horror elements. Edgy vampires who quote Sartre, Baudelaire and Nietzsche. It all starts very suggestive and strange, but towards the end the film tilts with an excess of religious and philosophical symbolism. And of course we have to mention Lily Taylor who portrays an intriguing character that is intellectual, beautiful, stylish and cold hearted. Great experiment by Ferrera with artistic black and white images and a banging soundtrack.
Thanks to Raf for bringing this gem under my radar!
