Probably my favorite from Zahler so far. I love it when a movie takes its time to reveal the overarching plot.

Solid movie with a timely message, which forced the plot into a particular direction even if somewhat unrealistic.

The subject matter made me uncomfortable. Which is a good thing.

Probably some of the best uses of close-ups to this day.

Definitely set up a lot of tropes for later romantic comedies. Amazing how little the genre has changed over the past 90 years. I found this to be an enjoyable journey, and both of the main characters fun and likable.
