Andrea Arnold dear i just wanna talk and thank you for this little masterpiece. From the bottom of my heart and soul, seriously.
IT WAS SO DAMN POWERFUL IN EVERY WAY.
162 minutes absolutely worth watching. American Honey is about love, friendship, life, happiness, even making bad choices and running risks. The final scene in particular, really filled my heart with joy. It was so beautiful and pure.
Also, two things i appreciated the most: the cinematography and the close-ups, god i could literally cry for hours thinking about them, reminded me of Mommy by Xavier Dolan. (❤)
This movie will always have a special place in my heart.
