It's so fascinating how the Dollars movies increase in scope from movie to movie. I can't wait to watch Once Upon a Time in the West. This lost a little bit of the pure fun of For a Few Dollars More, but I have a feeling that it would be so much fun on a rewatch.
The alcoholic Union Captain segment reminded me greatly of the French villa from Apocalypse Now. Lots of semi-philosophical exposition that ultimately didn't add much. That is the only part of this movie that I would've cut.
