The Japanese Cinema references were fire especially the Lady Snowblood one. The back and forth flashbacks/film scenes confused me as certain points. Just wish the story itself resonated with me more and not relying solely on a Macguffin to propel an already interesting concept.

Crazy choreography in the fight scenes. Loved the humor and themes of family in this as well. I’m so glad of the influx of representation coming to the MCU and look forward to Shang-Chi along side other notable Marvel heroes.
Climax has major plot armor tho.
