williamfaeleith’s review published on Letterboxd:
Loose re-telling of the Cyrano de Bergerac story set in a posh traditional English public school with Alex Lawther's weedy nerdiness in place of Cyrano's large nose, as he helps handsome-and-sporty-but-dim Jonah Hauer-King to chase the new French teacher's daughter (Pauline Etienne). He's really, of course, smitten himself.
It's a sweet enough teen comedy and Alex Lawther is an engaging actor, but it all felt a bit inconsequential and the opportunity to satirise the public school system was not really taken.
