WyMan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I expected too much political satire out of this rather than just enjoying it for what it is - an oddly fun and entertaining blood-bath of bullets and explosions. It had the chance to effectively produce social messages through its premise, however it had no point of view to rely on, and it was sloppy in the execution (no pun intended) of its character’s personas. Some moments just felt dumb... like most political engagements today actually - back and forth, going nowhere. It wasn’t a bad way to kill time though, running at a short and sweet 90 minutes (thank goodness), and Betty Gilpin’s performance was extremely enjoyable, but I do think this was a missed opportunity overall.
