Sidney stop picking up random phone calls challenge.
In all seriousness though, this movie brings back and polishes all the things I loved about the original ‘Scream’, making it so much more refreshing and enjoyable. It’s extremely underrated and overlooked, and I would say it’s almost as good as the first film, as it was still able to restyle itself and bring something new to the table, and was successful at doing so, all while remaining true to the franchise.

I don’t know what was scarier, Ghostface or Gale Weather’s horribly cut bangs.

All Too Well: The Short Film

I worship Taylor Swift and the ground she walks on. This short film was the death of me. I’m speechless. I’m… DESTROYED!

First Class gets an A from me.

I feel as if this movie is heavily underrated and overshadowed by other instalments within the franchise. I couldn’t help but notice how this felt like such a breath of fresh air for comic book movies. It had such an indescribable feel to it, something I had never seen done before within comic book adaptations. Something so original and unprecedented, as it didn’t follow common tropes and was overall unpredictable.

    The Thing

The entirety of this movie I was thinking, damn Kurt Russell has the most perfect and luscious head of hair I’ve ever seen.
Alright but seriously this film was absolutely amazing, and as a huge fan of the horror genre, I am so disappointed in myself that I never watched it earlier. The fear of the unknown mixed with the idea that it could be anyone was so well crafted in this film and was able to amplify the atmosphere…

    Yayyy!!! The lesbians won!!!

Although I am upset that it took me this long to see this, I felt really satisfied with how this trilogy was wrapped and how it was left at a point where it could be potentially continued. Even though I did like 1978 a tad more, I think this entry was still almost as strong, but I just could not for the life of me take those accents seriously.

Now this is CAMP (pun intended).

I thought this was such a well made, over the top, fun and wacky love letter to the 80s slasher genre, and I just love how it doesn’t take itself seriously. It had the right amount of cheese, heart and horror, and the colour palette was gorgeous, making it have this very nostalgic feel to it. Also I adore Taissa Farmiga so obviously I was going to love this.

I did not know this movie was a thing until recently and knowing it was created by James Wan peaked my interest entirely. I went into this film knowing nothing about it other than the fact is has a lot of mixed reviews. Upon viewing it, i found myself heavily invested throughout the entire piece and thought it was incredible, especially the way James Wan tells his story and is able to create such a creepy atmosphere.

    The Possession of Hannah Grace

This movie was basically just Shay Mitchell showing little to no emotion, running around a morgue and opening a bunch of body bags. In other words it was extremely dull.

  • The Farm

    The Farm

A horror movie about vegan... cannibals??? I really didn’t like this. Like at all. It was one BIG, dull waste of time and full of missed opportunities. Felt extremely pointless.

James Gunn you are an absolute GENIUS. This took me by many surprises and was honestly one of the most incredible comic book films I have ever seen. It was action-packed, hilarious, heartwarming and an absolute blast from start to finish! The characters, the aesthetic, the sequences, the direction, the cinematography... I could go on and on about how utterly unique and entertaining this movie was for me. It was *chefs kiss* !!!

I give this movie 10 nom noms out of 10.
