The Red Balloon as my first watch in 2021 was the best decision I could have taken. Starting this year off on the right foot.

The saddest part was the after credits gag where Terry shouts "The movie is over! Go Home!" like its not 2020 and cinemas are closed and I’m already home.

2020 cut.

A rewatch of the original cut before I watch the new 2020 cut. Probably the best ending of a Israeli film, and one of my all time favorites.

My first Hong Sang-soo. I'm taken aback, truly wonderful.
