zacaiden’s review published on Letterboxd:
Antichrist builds the same wall of fog and unreality around its characters that everyone experiences during anxiety and depression. We march further and further into the fog as the movie progresses on, making it exceedingly difficult for the characters to retreat to objective and reasoned thinking. This film feels what is like to be be trapped inside your own head and abused by your own thoughts. The imagery is always potent, always beautiful, sometimes haunting, sometimes horrific, and all of it is seared onto my brain.
