Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984

The ridiculous supernatural plot elements of an eighties movie without any of the over the top-ness, fun, or charm. Just as drab as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a huge step back after the initial Wonder Woman movie. (Per sequel rules, we see a retread here... this time Chris Pine's character is baffled by technology of the present AND he tries on outfits. This time though, I was bored?) I now have much more respect for the MCU's use of the master of trickery, Loki, this shows how out of control that type of "magic" can get. By the end it felt like every character was using every cheat code and the movie was just breaking apart. The kind of movie that makes me question whether I like watching movies. (Then I watched Soul and was like, "Oh yeah. Movies rule.")
